How does certificate scanning work?

When you upload a certificate, Swift CPD sends it to an AI model that reads the document and returns the CPD details it can identify — such as the activity title, provider, completion date, accreditation number and CPD credits. Anything the certificate does not state is left blank rather than guessed.
